What does the Library do?

Welcome to the RRU Library!

The Library is here to help the Royal Roads community succeed in its scholarly and educational endeavours. The Library provides leadership, expertise, services, and resources that encourage lifelong self-directed research and learning, such as:

  • Course-embedded information literacy instruction , including guidance on navigating library resources, searching effectively and strategically, locating peer-reviewed articles, finding statistics and data, critically evaluating information sources, and using citation managers
  • Assistance for instructors with finding course-specific readings and resources
  • Individualized writing assistance, FAQs and online resources from the Writing Centre
  • Access to university archival and original research materials through the RRU Archives
  • Textbook and course materials sales through the Bookstore
  • Individual and group study spaces, including a computer lab and breakout rooms
  • Printing, scanning, and binding services
