Prepare to tell the story
Whether your story already has a defined ending, or the story unfolds your exploration of a topic, giving yourself time to ensure you’re ready to tell the story is an important stage in the learning process. At this stage, you can consider the knowledge you’ve gained so far in your process and make sure you’re prepared to tell your story.

Think back to the vision for your work as you consider the four questions below.

How will you make a plan for your writing to achieve your vision?

Find out what factors you need to consider when planning your writing and explore resources to help you create your plan.

How will you show the relationships between details and arguments?

Understand what an argument is and how to present the relationships in your story effectively, logically, and persuasively.

How will you organize your writing with paragraphs?

Get help with all aspects of paragraph structure and ensure the relationships within and between paragraphs are clear to your readers.

How will you give credit to avoid plagiarism?

Understand APA citation, Indigenous approaches to citation, and the pitfalls of plagiarism.
