APA Style 6th Edition (Scroll Down for 7th Edition)

These sample papers were created by the American Psychological Association and reflect their expectations for authors submitting manuscripts for publication in a scientific journal published by the APA. Please note that there may be some differences between the expectations of authors submitting a paper to the APA for publication and RRU students writing papers. For example, title pages for student papers usually do not show a page number, and at RRU, references to resources retrieved from a subscription-based electronic database that do not have a DOI number assigned to them can provide either the home page URL of the database or the name of the database (click here for the rationale). If you have questions about what is expected of you, please refer to the resources in APA Style 6th Edition and/or speak with your instructor.
