Compatibility update

Write-n-cite is not compatible with the IE 9.0 browser. If you want to use Write-n-cite, you'll need to use a compatible browser.

Write-n-cite is also not compatible with the MAC OS X 10.7 ("Lion") operating system. If you are using Lion, you can use the One line/Cite view as an alternative to Write-n-cite:

Please also note: The classic RefWorks interface will be replaced by the RefWorks 2.0 interface later this year.  We strongly recommend becoming familiar with the RefWorks 2.0 interface as the classic interface will no longer exist in 2012.  Please refer to the RefWorks 2.0 tutorials and help guide below.

About

"With RefWorks users can create their own personal database by importing references from online databases. They can use these references in writing their papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds. As a web-based product, RefWorks is available to users across various platforms including Windows, Mac, Unix, etc. "

That blurb from the RefWorks site means you can use RefWorks to collect and organize all your bibliographic research in one place. And then you can use Refworks to generate your bibliographies in MSWord, formatted in APA, Chicago or any other of a range of styles!

The online tutorials and help guides linked below will show you how to use RefWorks, step by step. You can sign up for an account for yourself, and have other accounts for your teams as well so that you can all share your research and build a bibliography together.
