RRU Library invites you to stay in touch. Alumni who come to the campus may search the Library's catalogue, borrow print books, and consult print journals and other materials in the Library's physical collection, all free of charge
Alumni library cards
The Library is pleased to offer a FREE alumni library card to alumni of both the Royal Roads Military College and Royal Roads University. Alumni must provide proof of their alumni status and ID with a current address to obtain a library card. These cards expire after one year and must be renewed.
Alumni can borrow books from our regular collection but cannot borrow AV material, periodicals or reserve items. Books can be borrowed for 4 weeks and can be renewed if not requested by other borrowers.

The RRU Library Website
Accessing the Library website
The RRU Library website can be accessed at http://library.royalroads.ca
Accessing the Library's online resources
Alumni can freely access the Library's catalogue, as well as Dspace (RRU's institutional repository).
Due to strict licensing agreements with database vendors, access to the Library's collection of licensed online databases (e.g. EBSCOhost and ProQuest) is limited to current RRU students, faculty and staff only. This restriction is common to post-secondary institutions who license online resources, however, there are some information resources that do not fall under these licensing agreements which are freely available. They are:
