RRU students
RRU students use their student ID cards as a library card.  In addition to borrowing books from our regular collection students can borrow AV material, periodicals, and reserve items. RRU students can also use their computer login and password to access our online databases and eBooks. 

RRU students have access to our Document delivery and interlibrary loan services at no cost.  To learn more about these services follow these links: DocDel | ILL

Students can request a COPPUL card that will allow them to access other university libraries across Canada.  Students are also able to access the Camosun College library at no cost.  

Alumni
Alumni of both the Royal Roads Military College and Royal Roads University are entitled to use our library at no cost.  Alumni must provide proof of their alumni status and ID with a current address to obtain a library card.  These cards expire after one year and must be renewed.

Alumni can borrow books from our regular collection but they cannot borrow AV material, periodicals or reserve items. 

Alumni can have books sent to them (document delivery) for a fee of $10.00 per request.  To learn more about this service click here.

Community Borrowers
For a fee of $25.00 per year residents of southern Vancouver Island can sign up to use the Royal Roads University library.  Borrowers must provide a piece of photo ID and proof of their current address.

Community borrowers have access to books from our regular collection but they cannot borrow AV material, periodicals or reserve items.  Community borrowers do not have access to our online databases.

COPPUL
Students from universities belonging to COPPUL are able to use the Royal Roads library as no cost.  COPPUL students must provide a valid student ID and COPPUL card form their university along with proof of their current address.

COPPUL borrowers have the same privileges as community borrowers.

CAMOSUN STUDENTS
Students from Camosun College are eligible to use the Royal Roads library at no cost.  Camosun students must provide a valid student ID along with proof of their current address.

Camosun students have the same borrowing privileges as community borrowers.
